2011 August eWild - A Busy Summer

The Tucson Wildlife Center has had a very busy summer. In addition to the many calls from the greater Tucson area, TWC helped rescue animals affected by the wild fires. In June, 174 animals were admitted - this is a new record!

The phrase "Many hands make light work" is proven every day at TWC. Together, each of us can take part in helping Southern Arizona's wildlife.

2011 July eWild - Independence!

2011 June eWild - Raining Babies!

Great Horned Owl babies await renesting at the Tucson Wildlife CenterDavid Stropka of the Tucson Hebrew Academy rescued two Great Horned Owl babies that had fallen from their nest.

Since the babies were sitting in a busy driveway, David tucked them into an empty box and called the Tucson Wildlife Center.

2011 May eWild - TWC: On Camera! Our Monthly Film Series Starts Now

'We Are Tucson Wildlife Center' is an introduction to the Tucson Wildlife Center.

'Lisa's Javelina Mechanics' Pit Rescue' shows Lisa Bates, TWC founder/president trying to somehow get a 65 pound, oil-covered javelina out of a 10 foot deep mechanics' pit after the javelina had fallen in.
